Harriet E. Raghnal

 

Ms. Raghnal completed her law degree in 2005 at Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey and is admitted to practice law in states of New Jersey, New York and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Broadcast Communications from Long Island University/C.W.Post college. Ms. Raghnal is a Brooklyn, New York native, whose parents are immigrants from Jamaica, West Indies and Honduras. She is the former First Vice President of the Jamaican American Bar Association, North East, a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Over the last 15 years, she has focused on building a career that supports the needs of families. Ms. Raghnal represents individuals dealing with divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support and domestic violence (Restraining Orders).  Her practice has developed through early trial experience and dedication to children and families.  Since then she has been a part of the Family Law section of the State Bar Association and has volunteered with the Early Settlement Panel in Essex County. She is also a member of the entertainment section of the New York State Bar Association. Additionally, She also handles Personal Injury matters, car accidents and slip and falls. 

 

Ms. Raghnal is committed to community service and facilitates that through the organizations which she is actively involved. She served as the President of the Beta Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and is an associate member of the Essex Hudson chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc., she regularily supports and volunteers with NJ Seeds and is on the board of the Youth Orchestra of Essex County. Ms. Raghnal is a member of Christ Church in Montclair, New Jersey.
