Harriet E. Raghnal


Ms. Raghnal completed her law degree in 2005 from Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Broadcast Communications from Long Island University/C.W.Post college.

Ms. Raghnal is a Brooklyn, New York native, whose parents are immigrants from Jamaica, West Indies. She is the former First Vice President of the Jamaican American Bar Association, North East, a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Raghnal is committed to community service and facilitates that through the organizations which she is actively involved. She is the President of the Beta Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., an associate member of Jack and Jill of America Inc. and a member of Christ Church in Montclair, New Jersey.

Ms. Raghnal devotes the majority of her practice to Family Law, representing individuals dealing with divorce, child custody and support,  domestic violence (Restraining Orders). Additionally, Ms. Raghnal is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and is a part of the Family Law section and Women in the Practice, she is a volunteer on the Essex County, Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel. She represents juveniles charged with delinquency in Family Court for offenses ranging from possession and/or distribution of controlled dangerous substances to aggravated assault and other serious offenses. She also handles Personal Injury matters, car accidents and slip and falls.
